At Space Coast Service Dogs, a program offered through Ambassadors Dog Training, we provide individualized service dog training designed around the unique needs of each handler. Our goal is to help suitable dogs and handlers develop the skills, confidence, and working partnership needed to navigate everyday life together.

Our Approach

Every handler and dog has different needs. We take a personalized, one-on-one approach to evaluate suitability, establish training goals, and develop a program tailored to the handler’s disability-related needs.

Our services may include:

• Owner-Handled Service Dog Training: Work one-on-one with handlers and their own dogs to develop disability-related tasks, obedience, public-access manners, and practical daily skills.

• Individualized Training Plans: Training goals, methods, and timelines are determined by the dog’s temperament, current skill level, the handler’s needs, and the tasks required.

• Service Dog Placement Opportunities: In certain cases, we may have a suitable dog available for placement. Availability and placement depend on the individual dog’s suitability and the handler’s needs.

• Ongoing Handler Education: We help handlers develop the communication, handling skills, and consistency needed to maintain a successful working partnership.

Individualized Pricing

Service dog training is not a one-size-fits-all program. Pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis after we review the handler’s goals, the dog’s suitability, the tasks needed, and the level of training and support involved.

Costs may differ depending on whether you already have a suitable dog or are seeking a dog through one of our placement opportunities. We will discuss the recommended training approach, anticipated timeline, and associated costs before proceeding.

Our Commitment

We believe successful service dog partnerships begin with the right match, thoughtful training, and a clear understanding of each handler’s needs. Our focus is on building reliable working teams through individualized instruction, realistic expectations, and continued support.
